TeamViewer is industry-standard remote support software used by IT departments and tech support teams worldwide. It's free for personal use. I only access your computer when you initiate a session and share your ID and password with me — you are always in control.
TeamViewer — Free Remote Access
Windows 10 and 11 compatible · No account required for one-time support use
Visit teamviewer.com and click Download TeamViewer. Make sure you're downloading for Windows.
Open the downloaded TeamViewer_Setup.exe file. When prompted, select "Personal / Non-commercial use" and proceed through the installation.
You don't need to create a TeamViewer account. When it asks you to sign in or create an account, you can skip or close that prompt — we just need the basic remote access function.
After installation, open TeamViewer. The main window shows two things you need to send me: your Your ID and your Password.
Message me your TeamViewer ID and the Password shown on screen via Facebook Messenger or text. Once you close TeamViewer, that password is gone — a new one generates each time you open it. Never share these if you didn't initiate contact with me.
Once I connect, you can see my mouse moving on your screen at all times. You can disconnect instantly by closing TeamViewer or pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del. You stay in control throughout.
Before we connect, have your ProCal, HP Tuners VCM Suite, Holley EFI software — whatever we're working with — already open and connected to your ECU or the USB interface. This saves time at the start of the session.
Your laptop needs an active internet connection — WiFi or hotspot is fine. You can also be connected to your ECU via USB at the same time with no conflict.
If we're doing live calibration, your laptop should be close enough to the vehicle for the USB cable to reach the ECU interface. A USB extension cable is helpful if needed.
I can only connect when you provide your ID and password. TeamViewer generates a new password every session. I cannot access your computer without you actively sharing those credentials with me first.
